Location: This position will provide coverage primarily at our West side location at 6460 Harrison Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45247 and may occasionally provide coverage as needed at our Forest Park or OTR sites. Sunrise Treatment Center is an outpatient opiate addiction treatment facility. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, for a structured, lower-volume nursing role where you would prepare and dispense buprenorphine and methadone medication from our on-site dispensary. Our ideal candidate would prioritize patient safety, accuracy, and consistency. This position offers a predictable pace, meaningful exposure to regulatory standards, making it ideal for nurses interested in compliance focused practice while being given the opportunity to focus on quality of care without the demands of high patient volumes. This role offers significant hands on exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements, including medication handling, documentation standards, audits, and policy adherence. This role requires a dependable nurse who has excellent computer skills, relevant field experience, and someone looking to take on a more sedentary role, away from floor nursing. Position Summary: The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator is responsible the clinical training/orientation of the Clinical (Nursing) staff in the Medical Group. Adult learning theories are utilized when implementing educational programs/activities for staff. The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator acts as a consultant and trainer for standards of care for clinical practice; utilizes and applies change theory in matters related to clinical practice; applies interpersonal skills and fosters communication when interacting with staff and other members of the healthcare organization. The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator is directed by the Ambulatory Clinical (Nurse) Educator in establishing and maintaining clinical competencies; pursues continued excellence in clinical practice; is self‐motivated in identifying own strengths and limitations; and seeks to improve areas of weakness. The Ambulatory Clinical Training Coordinator is not administratively responsible for the supervision of other people but works collaboratively with Practice Managers to assure that standards of clinical practice are met.
