Step into an engaging contract opportunity this summer providing essential care and support in a school-based environment. This role calls for an LPN/LVN with experience in school settings, ready to float between elementary, middle, and high schools within a welcoming educational community. From July 6th to July 30th, you’ll work Monday through Thursday, 7:30am–12:30pm, delivering vital health services primarily within the health room setting rather than in a one-on-one arrangement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active LPN or LVN license required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly across age groups and school environments
  • Confident clinical skills with a compassionate, student-centered approach
  • Strong communication skills, collaboration, and attention to confidentiality
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and respond to daily health room needs for students at all grade levels
  • Provide first aid, medication administration, and care for minor injuries or illnesses
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents/guardians regarding health issues
  • Track and document student visits, treatments, and health histories accurately
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment in accordance with school/district policies
  • Travel efficiently between multiple buildings as assigned during scheduled hours
