Registered Nurse School Setting - Manchester, NH

Key Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire RN license in good standing
  • School nurse certification issued by the Department of Education

  • Comfort working with middle school-age children
  • Proficiency in health assessment, emergency care, and communication with students, staff, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the health needs of middle school students throughout the academic year
  • Administer first aid, medications, and routine health screenings
  • Develop individualized health care plans and provide chronic illness management
  • Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with applicable laws and district policies
  • Serve as a point of contact for health education, prevention programs, and staff support
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed
  • Foster strong partnerships with families and school staff to promote student wellness
