Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care and support residents in achieving their highest level of health and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the RN or physician

  • Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans

  • Perform assessments and assist with care planning

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

  • Provide wound care and treatment services as ordered

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

  • Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care every day

Qualifications

  • Current Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Post-Acute Care experience preferred but not required
