Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities. As a member of our skilled nursing team, Licensed Practical Nurse will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, drawing blood, and performing wound care
Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary care team
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Missouri
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in nursing preferred
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, as well as stand for long periods of time
