What You’ll Do

As an RN Assistant, you’ll help keep our clinical department running smoothly by supporting both administrative and client-related tasks:

  • Partner closely with the Director of Nursing on daily operations
  • Organize and maintain client records and documentation
  • Conduct 30-day follow-up calls with clients
  • Assist with (or be trained to perform) 60-day client visits
  • Support caregiver communication by providing client information to CHHAs
  • Help with scheduling, documentation, and office coordination
  • Maintain accurate logs and ensure compliance with agency standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients and families

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate:

  • Experience in homecare or a healthcare office (preferred, not required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone and in person
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Professional, warm, and client-focused attitude
  • Basic computer skills (EMR, scanning, filing—training provided)
  • Availability for at least 3 full days per week

Location New York, New York Shift: Day Flex (United States of America) Description: Staff Nurse - RN - Hospital at Home - Full time Days Hospital at Home is a unique and innovative program at NYP that provides inpatient hospital level care at the patient’s home. The program combines daily in-home visits, virtual visits, and 24/7 remote patient monitoring to give eligible patients an opportunity to stay in the comfort of their own home while receiving their hospital care. This program will be designed and delivered by NYP providers and clinical staff, allowing NYP's best-in-class care across all measures of quality, service, cost, and innovation to be continued in the home setting. Hospital at Home will provide strategic value to NYP by alleviating capacity constraints, improving patient experience, reducing readmission rates, and driving cost savings to the organization. Since 2020, CMS has authorized more than 320 hospitals across 133 health systems in 37 states to offer acute hospital care at home, and those numbers are climbing. The number of programs is expected to double by 2026. We are looking for motivated team members to help us become the largest, safest, and most innovative Hospital at Home program in the country. This is a full time day shift position , 8am - 830pm shift times. 3 shifts per week, Weekend and Holiday requirement . This program is at the Weill Cornell campus , located at 60th street site.
