Assignment Details:
- Duration: July 6th, 2026 through July 16th, 2026
- Schedule: 14 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric nursing environment
- Proficient in monitoring vital signs and tube feeding management/assessment
- Comfortable managing and assisting with ADLs and transfers
- Skilled in seizure management, including monitoring, documenting, and VNS support
- Experience with asthma management and the use of a suction machine
- Confidence in caring for students with medically complex needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized, compassionate 1:1 care to a student throughout the school day
- Monitor and document vital signs and overall health status
- Administer tube feedings and manage related equipment
- Deliver hands-on assistance with daily living activities and safe transfers
- Respond quickly and appropriately to seizures and utilize VNS equipment as needed
- Manage asthma symptoms and operate a suction machine if required
- Communicate effectively with school staff, family members, and medical professionals
