Overview Hospice Clinical Liaison - RN Location: Atlanta, GA and some of Gwinnett County Find Your Passion and Purpose as a Full-Time Clinical Liaison RN Schedule: M-F / limited on-call What You Need to Know The Clinical Liaison, either a Registered Nurse (RN), or Social Worker, will act as liaison between the contracted hospitals and the hospice team, make inpatient visits to hospice patients in contracted facilities, act as consultant for pain and symptom management, provide in-service education to providers, perform pre-admission evaluations for appropriateness for hospice services, initiates the admission process by educating and informing patient/family of hospice and its services. Occupational Medicine : Assist with our Occupational Medicine services, including drug screening, breath alcohol testing, audiograms, and pulmonary function testing, while adhering to company protocols. Compliance : Enforce and maintain healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Administrative Duties : Perform office procedures and general administrative tasks; proficiently operate office medical equipment. Quality Assurance : Oversee compliance with quality assurance programs, CLIA waived laboratory requirements, and patient result trackers. Travel Requirement: Support staffing and operational needs by traveling to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
