Position Overview

We're hiring two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 nursing support for students in a school setting. These are full-time opportunities that support medically fragile students and collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and successful school day.

Position Details
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
One student assignment for the school year
Bus riding is required as part of the daily schedule

Available Assignments

Position 1

1:1 support for a student who uses a wheelchair
The student has a tracheostomy and a catheter
Includes riding the bus home with the student, then returning to the school to assist as a program/diabetic nurse for the remainder of the day

Position 2

1:1 support for a student who uses a wheelchair
The student has an NG tube
Includes morning and afternoon bus transportation support


Qualifications
Active Washington LPN license
Experience with tracheostomy, enteral feeding tubes, or pediatric nursing preferred
Comfortable providing 1:1 care in a school setting
The ability to ride the school bus with the student as needed
