This part time position spans from August 18, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and involves accompanying the student in community settings to enhance their independence and work-readiness skills. The student is ambulatory, requires seizure monitoring and emergency medication support, but does not need a nurse while on campus, as the building nurse covers medication administration. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license is required.
• Previous experience in school settings is advantageous.
• Comfortable providing verbal prompts and supportive interactions rather than hands-on care.
• Experience or familiarity with autism and transition-aged youth is highly valued.
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently during seizure incidents, including administering emergency medication if needed.
• Reliable transportation for local community travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accompany the student in community settings and during work-based learning activities.
• Provide continuous seizure monitoring and be ready to administer emergency medication if necessary.
• Offer frequent verbal prompting and encouragement to foster student independence.
• Collaborate with the building nurse and school staff to ensure the students safety and well-being.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with the supervisor regarding schedule and daily activities.
