School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Cambridge, Massachusetts

This summer and potentially extending through the 2026/2027 school year, we are seeking compassionate and skilled RNs and LPNs dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of medically fragile children. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active, valid MA RN or LPN license required
Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric patients is highly valued
Ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams for optimal student support
Dependable and adaptable, with caring bedside manner for medically fragile children
Must be comfortable riding the school bus and providing care in transit
Experience with medically complex cases preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one nursing care to assigned student throughout the school day, including during bus transportation
Monitor, assess, and address student health needs in real time
Communicate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate effective care
Maintain accurate and timely health records following agency and school protocols
Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
Support students to access their educational environment safely
