Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Lansdale, PA

Bring your expertise as an LPN/LVN to a highly rewarding school-based role serving a preschool student near Lansdale, PA. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, following the school calendar. You will provide 1:1 nursing support to a young child who requires PRN suctioning, tube feeding, seizure support, and bus riding supervision. Start each school day by meeting the student at home and accompanying them to and from the Lower Southampton Early Learning Center.

Key qualifications and experience sought:

  • Current and valid LPN or RN state licensure required
  • Demonstrated competency and comfort with vents, g-tubes, and trachs
  • At least one completed professional reference from a medical supervisor (required)
  • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in both home and educational settings
  • Must be reliable, attentive, and able to respond quickly to medical emergencies
  • Willingness to ride the school bus with the student and assist as needed

Primary responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day and during transportation
  • Monitoring and responding to medical needs, including suctioning, tube feeding, and seizure care
  • Collaborating closely with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
