School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact supporting a preschool student as a contract LPN/LVN in a dedicated one-on-one school-based nursing position. You’ll play a critical role, assisting a young learner who requires specialized care such as PRN suctioning, tube feeding, seizure management, and bus riding. The role begins and ends according to the school calendar, with tentative dates from late August through early June, and offers 37.5 working hours per week.

In this position, you will meet the student at their home in the morning and ride together to the school each day, ensuring continuity of care both during transit and school hours. Your expertise with ventilators, g-tubes, and tracheostomies will be essential in providing responsive, compassionate support.

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

Active state licensure as an LPN or LVN (LPN preferred; RNs also considered)
Demonstrated experience with ventilators, g-tubes, trachs, and seizure protocols
Prior work in a pediatric or school environment is highly valued
Ability to communicate clearly with school staff and students’ families
Strong commitment to safety, discretion, and student support
One completed medical supervisor reference required at the time of presentation

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Providing direct medical care to the student during school hours and transportation
Monitoring for and responding to seizures or other acute medical needs
Suctioning and tube feeding as needed
Documenting care and communicating updates with relevant school personnel
Supporting the student’s participation in school activities while maintaining a safe environment
