Make a difference in a child’s life as a dedicated 1:1 nurse for a preschool student requiring ongoing care throughout the school day and transport. This contract opportunity allows you to use your clinical expertise in a school setting, supporting an amazing young learner with specialized healthcare needs. The role follows the academic calendar, providing you with consistent hours and an engaging experience in a collaborative educational environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted state LPN or RN license (required)
  • At least one completed Medical Supervisor reference at the time of application
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence with ventilator management, g-tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and suctioning
  • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation to meet the student at their home for bus rides to/from the early learning center
  • Professionalism, strong communication, and a compassionate approach to complex care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, meticulous 1:1 nursing support to a preschool student with specialized health needs
  • Perform PRN suctioning, tube feedings, seizure monitoring, and ventilator/trach management as needed
  • Ride the bus daily with the student, beginning and concluding care at their home in the Langhorne area
  • Monitor and document student’s health status and communicate with school staff/parents as appropriate
  • Stay up to date with emergency protocols and respond appropriately in urgent situations
  • Adhere to the school calendar (tentative dates: 8/24/2026 – 6/11/2027), 37.5 hours per week
