Job Description

The Advance Practice Nurse is a registered nurse who provides a primary level of care in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team provides care to a specific patient population. Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical/psychosocial assessment, and management of health and illness in the care of individuals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification
  • Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.
  • Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider
  • Current BCLS verification
  • Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice
  • Demonstrates leadership ability
  • 3-5 years clinical experience
