The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides medical care to the patients within the scope of privileges for which the certified practitioner is educationally and clinically prepared and granted by the state of Maine licensing board and according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and the OH clinics under the general direction of the Director of Occupational Health. The certified practitioner will maintain prescriptive authority and comply with licensure requirements. Naval Station Newport (NAVSTA Newport) is a United States Navy base located in the city of Newport and the town of Middletown, Rhode Island.
