Overview

Oversees all departmental health administration needs and requirements as directed by upper management.

Manages a medical recordkeeping system including detailed patient health records, ensuring complete

confidentiality and records security of patient health data as well as doctor notes and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Directs Directors, Senior Managers, and occasionally senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and

is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching feedback.

Leads area processes for the Nursing Services unit, and ensures methods align with the overall business

strategy.

Maintains written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services function.

Assists in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other patient services to ensure the

continuity of the patients’ total regimen of care.

Performs administrative duties such as admitting, discharging, transferring patients, completing medical forms,

reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.

Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process

to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Manages operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as

implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.

Creates a purpose driven environment by aligning the organization's mission, vision, and core values of

improving health and promoting well-being with the strategies and goals of the Health Administration team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Graduation from an approved school of nursing and current non-limited licensure in state. Educational requirement may be waived with substantive experience. Preferred

Associate's Degree Nursing Required
