Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented and experienced Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. 

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights

Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Registered Nurse NICU Float Pool

Job Description​ The NICU Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized, evidence-based nursing care to neonatal patients across multiple Neonatal Intensive Care Units within the Saint Luke's BJC health system. This role supports staffing needs by floating to three designated NICU locations and caring for patients ranging from stable growing infants to critically ill neonates requiring advanced respiratory and intensive care interventions. The NICU Float Pool RN demonstrates clinical excellence, adaptability, strong critical-thinking skills, and the ability to rapidly integrate into diverse care teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety, family-centered care, and professional practice. Float Pool Responsibilities Provides competent nursing care across assigned three NICU locations and campuses. (Saint Luke's Plaza, Saint Luke's North-Barry Rd, Saint Luke's East- Lee's Summit) Adapts quickly to varying workflows, equipment, and unit cultures.
