What You’ll Bring:

  • Active RN licensure in New Jersey
  • Demonstrated pediatric nursing experience (required)
  • Previous school nursing background highly valued
  • Proficiency with NG-tube care (specifically, not G-tube)
  • Comfort with non-ambulatory student support, including safe lifting and transport (approx. 24 lbs.)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation for participation in busing, as required
  • The ability to work onsite, weekdays, 8:00am–3:00pm, from June 1 to June 26

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout the school day for a single student
  • Administer and monitor NG-tube feeds and medication
  • Safely assist with student lifting, transfers, and transport to and from the bus according to the child’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to create an inclusive and attentive environment
  • Document care provided and respond promptly to changes in the child’s condition
