Allure of Mendota is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Nursing Services department.

This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care.

Position Summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the Nursing Services department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.

This role ensures the delivery of high-quality care while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion.

Essential Responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee all Nursing Services operations to ensure exceptional resident care

  • Ensure compliance with all long-term care regulations

  • Develop, implement, and interpret nursing policies and procedures

  • Monitor clinical outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Participate in budgeting and financial planning for the nursing department

  • Support operational planning and coordination of nursing services

  • Utilize data and analytics to drive quality, performance, and risk management

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff

  • Mentor and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • 2–4 years of nursing leadership experience (skilled nursing preferred)

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Working knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality measures

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday

  • 8-hour shifts

  • On-call rotation as required

Occupational Health Case Manager BSN RN Clinic

Overview POSITION SUMMARY: ​The Occupational Health Case Manager Clinic Nurse is responsible for providing a variety of nursing duties as well as serving as case manager. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: 2 years of clinical RN experience in order to be able to independently assist employees with minor injuries / illnesses, respond to a variety of health and related occupational questions, and serve as case manager for occupational injuries / illnesses.
