Supervisory Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner)

This permanent position serves as the Supervisory Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) working in the Primary Care and the Emergency Department at Whiteriver Service Unit in Whiteriver, Arizona. The Incumbent will supervise Whiteriver Service Unit nurse practitioners and perform clinical nursing service to a patient population. The position reports to Clinical Director.

A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Extensive mentoring program Summary As an Advanced Practice Provider with the General Surgery team, your practice includes, but is not limited to: Comprehensive health care assessment, diagnosis, initiation of appropriate care and treatment Continuous outcome monitoring of the general surgery patient population. Follow established protocols and collaborate with physicians Work independently in health care decisions. A growing, innovative cardiovascular program is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to help build and support a comprehensive atrial fibrillation program. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative electrophysiology and cardiology team, providing longitudinal management for patients with atrial fibrillation through guideline-directed care, patient education, risk factor modification, and coordinated procedural planning. The advanced practice provider will help support and shape clinical pathways designed to improve access, care coordination, and quality outcomes across the continuum of atrial fibrillation patient care. In this role you will practice with a high level of autonomy while benefiting from strong physician collaboration and support. This position will initially focus on left atrial appendage occlusion program, with future expansion into broader atrial fibrillation care.
