Bring your clinical expertise and compassion to a meaningful role supporting students in an educational setting near Zionsville, IN. As a Licensed Practical Nurse providing dedicated one-on-one support in an essential skills classroom, you’ll help ensure a student’s health, safety, and full access to learning throughout the school day. This contract opportunity follows a weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:15 PM, beginning August 5, 2026.

Responsibilities:
• Administer medications (including via G-tube) per prescribed protocols
• Perform frequent suctioning according to medical needs and guidelines
• Assist with oral feeding, hydration, and monitor safe intake
• Support toileting needs, promoting dignity and hygiene
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and transfers, following safe procedures
• Monitor and document health status, reporting to appropriate staff
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications and Experience:
• Active LPN certification required
• Experience working with children, especially those with complex medical needs, highly valued
• Direct experience or training in G-tube care, suctioning, and feeding support preferred
• Physically capable of assisting with transfers and positioning
• Exceptional communication skills; proven ability to work within a team
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Compassion, patience, and respect for student confidentiality
