Step into a pivotal role supporting a young learner’s health and academic journey as a dedicated 1:1 support professional. This contract opportunity is open to skilled LPNs, with particular relevance for those who’ve worked within school settings or provided direct support to students with complex medical needs. Starting August 5, 2026, you will partner closely with school staff—operating on regular school days from 7:30 AM to 3:15 PM—to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver prescribed medications via G-tube in strict compliance with protocols.
Provide regular suctioning in accordance with individualized medical plans.
Support with oral feeding and hydration, prioritizing safety and monitoring intake.
Assist with toileting needs while maintaining student dignity and hygiene.
Safely execute lifting, transferring, and positioning using appropriate techniques.
Monitor, document, and clearly communicate all aspects of the student’s health status.
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and medical staff to align on comprehensive care strategies.
Foster a consistently clean, comfortable, and safe classroom setting.

Qualifications:

LPN certification required; RN or school-based experience is advantageous.
Strong background working with children—especially those with unique medical needs—is highly sought after.
Preferred familiarity with G-tube care, suctioning, and feeding techniques.
Physical ability for lifting and hands-on support.
Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Outstanding communication, teamwork, and record-keeping skills.
