Advanced Practice Provider - Neurology

The purpose for the APP position is to support functions in the neurology program as a clinician, educator, team member, and advocate for our patient population. The APP will see outpatient follow up neurology visits in order to create treatment plans, communicate with patient/family members regarding their care, coordinate with schools (for seizure action plans, IEPs, medication forms and other medical forms), and take first line call for neurology after hours 10 days per month (Monday – Thursday). Duty Percent of Time Outpatient Clinics – 8 half day clinics with a goal for the patient to alternate between APP and physician.
