Job Purpose The Registered Nurse provides general inpatient nursing care for the patients at the Hospital. This position provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and requires staff accountability for compliance with regulatory and professional standards for patient care units and staff. This nurse provides compassionate and competent nursing care so that we have the opportunity to feel the joy of impacting the lives of our patients, their families, and our co-workers. Qualifications Education: Associate Degree or completion of diploma in Nursing Program. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: None Required License/Certification/Credential: Registration and current RN license in Oklahoma. Current CPR certification and PALS Certification within 1 year of employment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duty Percent of Time Performs skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and Hospital Policies and Procedures. 75% Communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team; provides clear comprehensive report to on-coming shift. 10% Charting patient care in Electronic Health Record as indicated: Medication Administration, Vital Signs, Assessment Data, etc. 10% Other duties as assigned 5% Work Schedule : Offer 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM) with rotating weekends. Base Pay & Shift Differentials: Registered Nurse (RN) starting hourly rate begins at $32.24 per hour and increases based on education and experience Bethany Children's Health Center also offers shift differentials for working evening, nights or weekend hours. On Monday, you will onboard and learn about hospital requirements and culture with Jaycee from HR. Tuesday, you will complete RT training. Wednesday is Nursing Orientation. Thursday is New Employee Orientation for all BCHC new hires. Friday is a trauma informed care class called Mandt that we require of all employees. Training Requirements for Week 2: This week will include a thorough rehabilitation training day, our Meditech EMR system training, and other required courses related to your position (ie. HealthStream, Lippincott, BLS course, PALS course, etc.) Training Requirements for Week 3: Packet training week includes all nursing specific trainings. During this week you will complete mandatory online classrooms specific for your job title, and complete hands-on skills at the bedside and with our nurse educators. Advanced Practice Provider - Neurology

The purpose for the APP position is to support functions in the neurology program as a clinician, educator, team member, and advocate for our patient population. The APP will see outpatient follow up neurology visits in order to create treatment plans, communicate with patient/family members regarding their care, coordinate with schools (for seizure action plans, IEPs, medication forms and other medical forms), and take first line call for neurology after hours 10 days per month (Monday – Thursday). Duty Percent of Time Outpatient Clinics – 8 half day clinics with a goal for the patient to alternate between APP and physician. Facilitates meetings, reviews quality data and wound care practices, coordinates action items, and promotes ongoing standardization and evidence-based practice. 10% Monitors wound care outcomes and quality metrics. Under limited direction, this position functions on the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care throughout the continuum of care and serves as a clinical resource for care management.
