Qualifications:
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and compassion working with diverse student needs across K-12
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to students, including health assessments, medication administration, and emergency interventions
- Develop and implement individualized health plans in partnership with educational staff and parents
- Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate, confidential records for student health services
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and families regarding health and wellness
- Provide health education and support to promote well-being and prevent illness within the school community
