Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability across the care team. Regulatory Compliance Ensure nursing practices comply with New York State DOH , CMS , and facility policies . Conduct chart audits to confirm accurate, complete documentation of resident care and progress notes. Participate in QA/QI programs, infection control audits, and safety committees. Prepare for and participate in DOH inspections and surveys. Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. Emergency Response Serve as the on-site clinical authority during assigned shifts. Respond to medical emergencies, perform immediate assessments, and direct staff response. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of NYS DOH and CMS nursing home regulations.
