Schedule: Full Time 7pm-730amCompensation: Up to $52.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience

RN Pre/Post Op at Michigan Outpatient Surgical Solutions The Pre/Post Op RN provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Pre/Post Op RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Must have at least 2-5 years of experience in PreOp/PACU, Med Surg or Critical Care.
