
School Nurse Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Andover, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts CNA license or relevant MA certification
- Documented completion of oxygen training
- Experience with oxygen equipment and saturation monitoring
- Skilled in conducting cardiorespiratory physical assessments and CPR
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a school environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student during school hours, ensuring their ongoing medical and hydration needs are met
- Administer and manage oxygen delivery systems, adjusting as needed based on clinical assessment and equipment readings
- Monitor and record the students oxygen saturation and overall well-being throughout the school day
- Perform regular cardiorespiratory physical assessments and be prepared to respond in case of emergencies
- Maintain detailed documentation related to student care in accordance with school and state guidelines
This contract role averages 32.5 hours each week throughout the school year, centered at one campus with a steady 1:1 caseload focused on the needs of a single student. You'll be the essential link that connects caring support to educational achievement.
