Aventura at Pembrooke is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Unit Manager. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care while mentoring and supporting a clinical team.
As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned nursing unit, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and a positive experience for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely assessments, documentation, and follow-up.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and nursing standards.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Review physician orders, medication administration records, and clinical documentation for accuracy.
Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives, infection prevention activities, and regulatory surveys.
Participate in the facility's on-call rotation to provide clinical leadership and support outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications
Current, active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred
Previous experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or other nursing leadership role.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical best practices.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
