Valley Nursing Healthcare is a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive and team-focused environment. We are currently seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team.

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life while building meaningful relationships every day.

Position Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and supports the nursing team in delivering exceptional care and service. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.

  • Provide mobility assistance and safely transfer residents using gait belts and mechanical lifts as needed.

  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.

  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.

  • Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

  • Follow infection control guidelines and resident safety standards at all times.

  • Support residents with compassion, dignity, respect, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Current and Active North Carolina CNA Certification

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • CPR/BLS Certification preferred.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation, or Healthcare preferred, but new CNAs are encouraged to apply!

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment while providing high-quality resident care.

Shift Availability

  • PRN Schedule

  • Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required
