Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Perform EKGs, spirometry, vision testing, wound care, ear lavage, and point-of-care testing. Administer medications and immunizations per standing orders. Perform venipuncture and specimen collection. Track and communicate lab and diagnostic results. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of specimens. Maintain supply inventory and monitor expiration dates. Patient Care & Service: Greet patients professionally and provide patient-centered care. Review medications, allergies, and health maintenance items. Provide patient education and follow-up guidance. Support care coordination and referrals. Administrative & Compliance Duties Document all clinical tasks in the EHR in real time. Participate in huddles, quality initiatives, and compliance audits. Maintain certifications, continuing education, and competencies. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and emergency preparedness standards. Support chart prep, scheduling, and population health tasks.
