Job Summary and Qualifications

The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Cardiology Nurse Manager/Director. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Menorah Medical Center. The Registered Nurse in 742/Cardiac Rehab provides care adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older, this includes inpatient and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab, stress testing, EKG, and cross trained with CHF Clinic.

Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate. Qualifications Education and Work Experience 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training 6.
