Duties
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Prepare meals, provide medication reminders, and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities.
Observe and report changes in the client's condition and document care accurately using the Axiscare mobile app.
Follow each client's care plan while maintaining professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication with clients, families, and the office.
Qualifications
Active CNA license (Georgia) or PCA experience/training preferred.
Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospital preferred).
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
Negative TB test within the last 12 months (or willingness to complete one).
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance (preferred for client transportation).
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely using equipment such as gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and transfer boards (training provided if needed).
Excellent communication, compassion, patience, and professionalism.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Authorized to work in the United States.
