What We’re Looking For:
- Current Minnesota LPN license (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage health records, administer medications, and respond to student health needs efficiently
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy office
- Professionalism and compassion with a student-centered approach
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality healthcare and first aid to students and staff during school hours
- Administer prescription and over-the-counter medications according to school policies
- Maintain detailed health records and document care provided
- Work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and parents regarding student health concerns
- Support the creation and implementation of individual health plans as required
- Oversee infection control protocols and provide education on health and safety issues
