Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while promoting dignity and independence.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

  • Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.

  • Answer resident call lights and respond quickly to resident needs.

  • Accurately document care provided according to facility policies.

  • Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio STNA license required.

  • Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Attend and participate in all scheduled staff meetings, educational meeting/in-services and all other meetings related to employment. 7. Assist with and participate in all resident activities to facilitate a home-like environment for the residents within assigned facility. 8. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations. 9. Respectfully engage and welcome all visitors, guests and family members within the facility. 10. Ensure s safe and sanitary living environment for residents. 11. Adhere to all infection control policies within the assigned facility. 12. Ensure the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process is followed in accordance to State & Federal Guidelines. 13.
