Performs other related duties and activities as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Provides for a safe patient experience through adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards, infection prevention guidelines, and reports any potential equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. May support a variety of clerical office functions including answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining medical records, scanning documents, prior authorizations, and maintaining accurate patient documentation. Within the scope of Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant, demonstrates clinical knowledge and excellent customer service while answering and triaging patient telephone calls. Documents accurately in the EMR and obtains provider instructions when appropriate.
