Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing services to students in accordance with district policies and state regulations
- Assess and address student health concerns and medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare providers
- Promote a safe and healthy school environment
- Support health screenings, student wellness initiatives, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
- Knowledge of school health regulations and best practices preferred
