Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.

Provides direct care to external Brookdale at Home clients, living outside the walls of a Brookdale Senior Housing Community, which reflects Brookdale’s philosophy and standards of non-skilled home care. Assists in meeting the client’s individual needs while treating the clients with respect and dignity. Works independently without on-site supervision and support in the client’s personal home. Assists clients with the activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the client plan of care. Assists clients with homemaker companion tasks such as laundry, shopping, light housekeeping, meals, according to the plan of care. Follows assignment tasks. Contacts supervisor if client desires deviation from assigned tasks. Allows and encourages client to do as much of their own care as possible, to remain active.
