We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in an elementary school setting in Lansing, NY. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with children and collaborating with educators and families to promote student health and success.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and health services to elementary-aged students.
Assess and respond to student health needs throughout the school day.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with school policies.
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
Develop and implement appropriate healthcare plans as needed.
Respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Communicate with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers.
Support students with chronic health conditions and other medical needs.
Participate in school meetings and collaborate with the educational team to support student success.

Qualifications

Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the school team.
Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with elementary-aged students.
