Job Summary:

Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 200-bed Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility located in Cortland, NY, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff development team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing evidence-based educational programs that promote the ongoing professional growth of our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement evidence-based, quality education programs to enhance staff competency and the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
• Collaborate with management, staff, and external partners to assess, integrate, and evaluate educational needs and resources.
• Develop, review, and update training manuals, policies/procedures, job aides, and clinical pathways.
• Educate staff on clinical policies, criteria, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Conduct new staff orientation to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Conduct quality review audits of the clinical team and strategic partners to ensure that company protocols and standards are being met.

Requirements:

• New York State RN License required.
• 1+ years of clinical experience as a registered nurse preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to foster a positive learning environment and ensure staff compliance with healthcare standards.

Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families. Ensure the department is well-stocked with medical supplies.
