As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), in overseeing various aspects of nursing operations and providing leadership to the nursing staff. Responsibilities of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) : Clinical Oversight : Monitor and assess the quality of nursing care provided to residents, ensuring adherence to established standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Staff Management : Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing personnel. Team Collaboration : Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate resident care plans and ensure holistic care delivery. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize nursing practices and outcomes. Regulatory Compliance : Stay abreast of state and federal regulations governing nursing home operations. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, documentation requirements, and accreditation processes. Resource Management : Manage nursing resources efficiently, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies. Optimize resource allocation to meet resident care needs while adhering to budgetary constraints. Resident Advocacy : Serve as an advocate for residents, promoting their rights, dignity, and well-being. Direct Care : Assist and/or perform direct resident care as needed or directed. RN Evening Supervisor Part Time

Beechtree Center for Rehabiliation and Nursing is currently seeking an Evening RN supervisor. RN management experience prefered. PART TIME RN Duties Include: Responds to emergencies involving the Resident or unit Communicates with families regarding the Resident's plan of care and any changes in the condition of the Resident. Receives and communicates information to the staff and keeps Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing informed of needs and current developments. Supervises the RN, LPN, and NA trainees during the orientation period and/or delegates this responsibility to the Shift Supervisor or Registered Nurse on the designated shift. Completes the performance appraisals of RN's and LPN's, collaborating with the Shift Supervisors on appraisals for evening shifts Conducts nursing (quality) rounds monthly and as needed on all shifts. Educates staff, oversees the implementation of new policies and procedures and periodically reviews current procedures, working in collaboration with the DON/ADON on Development as needed. Handle all supervisory duties for the unit. Establish employee policies and procedures. Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice. Establish the standards of care for the unit. Review Resident records & quality of care. Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases. Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families. Ensure the department is well-stocked with medical supplies. Represent the unit's interests with the upper level management. RN Requirements Include : Minimum 2 years Long-Term Care Experience. Minimum 1-year Unit Manager experience. Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process Perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, friends, and families; supervise assigned team members Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record process Supports CNA team.
