Nemours is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Eisenberg Elementary New Castle County School-Based Health System Team! This school-based health APRN position is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children while enjoying a schedule that aligns with the academic year. This Position Is Responsible For

  • An area of specialized nursing practice, and provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the ambulatory, and outpatient settings with the Seaford School system
  • The nurse practitioner will carry out the major responsibility for the student’s health care needs including evaluation, management and follow-up
  • This role will occasionally include various additional responsibilities, such as telehealth support.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (PNP)
  • Pediatric Primary Care NP Certification required
  • Three years of pediatric primary care experience
  • Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure required
  • Active Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, with prescriptive authority required
  • Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) if practicing in Delaware
  • Federal DEA registration with Office Address
  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required
