We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in a medically fragile middle school classroom in Olathe, Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys working with children and providing hands-on nursing care in a school setting.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and medical support to students in a medically fragile classroom
Assist with G-tube feeding and care
Provide bottle feeding as needed
Assist students with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
Provide toileting and personal care assistance
Monitor student health and respond appropriately to medical needs
Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized healthcare plans
Collaborate with school staff and other members of the student support team
Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications

Active Kansas LPN license required
Previous pediatric, school nursing, medically fragile, or special education experience preferred
Experience with G-tubes, feeding, toileting, and ADL assistance preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with medically complex students
