Aspire Senior Living Carthage is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) to join our Wound Management team. As a Wound Nurse (LPN/RN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality wound care to our residents. Your expertise will help us promote healing, prevent complications, and improve the overall health and well-being of our residents.

Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, individualized wound care to residents, including wound assessment, treatment, and education
• Develop and implement wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct regular wound assessments and monitor progress to ensure optimal healing
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment
• Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans

Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Missouri
• Current CPR certification
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Position Details: Our Surgical Unit is a 24-private bed unit that cares for a diverse surgical population including bariatric, kidney, and other abdominal surgeries. You will also support patients with GI conditions, such as GI bleeds, pancreatitis, urinary concerns and general medical overflow. Our Nurses work on a support team of educators, PCA/PCT's, Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, PT/OT and Speech Therapists. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
