School Nurse Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Warwick, Rhode Island

Qualifications & Required Experience:

Current CNA license and valid CPR certification
Demonstrated pediatric experience ideally within school or childcare environments
Familiarity with seizure protocols and comfortable providing oversight during transportation
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, staff, and families
Reliability and professionalism in routine, confidential care

Key Responsibilities:

Accompany a single pre-K student to and from school by bus, monitoring for medical safety at all times
Provide hands-on assistance and supervision throughout the morning (7:45am11:15am, MondayFriday)
Observe, recognize, and respond to signs of seizure activity or health changes promptly and appropriately
Maintain detailed care documentation and communicate relevant updates as needed
Collaborate with school staff, nurses, and families to ensure consistent and safe daily routines
