Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, supervising nursing support staff, and ensuring quality care in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and state and federal regulations. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed. Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes to physicians and appropriate team members. Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record. Provide compassionate care while promoting resident dignity, comfort, and independence. Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
