What You’ll Do:

  • Be a clinical leader in GI care—manage patients with GI dysfunction and disease across inpatient and/or outpatient settings

  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create and carry out treatment plans

  • Perform assessments, order diagnostics, and initiate evidence-based interventions

  • Assist with or perform specific diagnostic/interventional GI procedures (with supervision)

  • Provide education and support to patients and families

  • Help shape and elevate the standard of GI care in our organization

What You Bring:

  • MSN from an accredited nursing program

  • Active RN license in Missouri

  • Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC, AANP, etc.)

  • Missouri certification for Advanced Practice (if required)

  • Current Collaborative Practice Agreement

  • BCLS certification

  • Clinical expertise in GI or a strong interest in developing it

  • 3–5 years of hands-on nursing experience

  • Leadership chops and the ability to thrive in a team

General Cardiology and Heart Failure Advanced Practice Provider

Job Description​ This Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position is a full time role covering general cardiology and heart failure with the primary patient population being adult. Inpatient responsibilities will include general cardiology rounding at St. Luke’s South. Outpatient responsibilities will consist of heart failure clinics at both St. Luke’s South and St. Luke’s Hospital (Plaza). The schedule is Monday through Friday and consists of four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) each week, with one variable day off. There is a weekend and holiday commitment for this role. The employee will be responsible for the medical management of the Cardiology patient population within the scope of an Advanced Practice Provider. The term Advanced Practice Provider encompasses Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Clinical Nurse Specialists. The employee will have successfully completed a Master’s degree (or higher level of educational program) and have met the requirements for the respective State Board(s) (Missouri and Kansas). The APP will hold and maintain a national certification and licensure as required by State Boards and BJC-Saint Luke’s Health System, as well as other certification as obligatory for this role.
