As a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll deliver skilled nursing care and play a vital role on the educational team. Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, and documentation
  • Training in emergency response and CPR certification

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to students including medication administration, treatment of minor injuries or illnesses, and health screenings
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and implement care protocols as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student health plans
  • Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality following legal and ethical guidelines
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics as appropriate
  • Follow all school and district health policies and procedures
