Certified Home Health Aide

$20 - $21 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out assigned tasks on patient assignments and follow care plans.

  • Perform delegated tasks as instructed by the RN.

  • Bathe patients, assist with showers and partial baths as appropriate.

  • Help patients maintain personal hygiene and assist with all aspects of activities of daily living.

  • Report changes in patient conditions to supervising RN.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of approved Certified Home Health Aide training program.

  • Certification as a Certified Home Health Aide in NJ.

  • 1 year of experience in a home health or hospice setting.

  • 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).

  • A compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick;

  • Ability to read, write and carry out instructions in English
